Many of our members modestly donate their time and funds to help improve the lives of others in need. The NVAR Good Neighbor Award recognizes these members who have made a great difference to others.

2023 Recipient 

Sara Knight with balloons

NVAR Cares members and NVAR staff presented the 2023 Good Neighbor Award to Sara Knight, Founder of The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation (SJGF). $1,000 is being donated to SJGF, whose mission is to help families whose children are seriously ill, have special needs, or are currently facing a medical crisis by providing support with day-to-day needs and filling in gaps other services cannot fill. Thank you, Sara, for your commitment to this cause!

NVAR Brokerage Spirit Award

The Brokerage Spirit Award honors a brokerage that gives back to the community. Brokerages can self-nominate or be nominated; criteria is not based on funds raised, but by the effort of the brokerage to influence its members’ charitable outreach individually or as a group.

2023 Recipient

NVAR CARES members and staff presented the 2023 Brokerage Spirit Award to RE/MAX Gateway. The donation is going to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals which raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide over 30 million treatments each year to kids across the nation. Thank you RE/MAX Gateway for your dedication to the profession and the real estate industry!
