Everyone who lives or works in Virginia should pre-register so they can be notified when they are eligible for vaccination and an appointment is available. To pre-register, visit vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682, TTY users call 7-1-1). Assistance is available in English, Spanish, and more than 100 other languages. Videoconferencing in American Sign Language is also available at vaccinate.virginia.gov.

Virginia is now distributing vaccinations to the Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C priority groups. While real estate is undoubtedly an important industry from an economic standpoint (something NVAR has strongly advocated for to keep the real estate industry open during quarantine), it  has not necessarily been considered to be a priority industry employing Frontline Essential Workers or Essential Workers for the purposes of vaccine distribution in Phases 1B and 1C in Virginia. However, many NVAR members may fall into the Phase 1B and Phase 1C priority group criteria listed below.

For additional information on the Phase 1C priority group, please click here.

Policies are being continually reevaluated as conditions and vaccine availability change. Please visit vdh.virginia.gov or the website listed below for your jurisdiction for the latest updates.

Phase 1A:

• Health care personnel

• Long-term care facility residents and staff

Phase 1B:

• Adults 65 years and older

• Persons ages 16 through 64 years with certain conditions or disabilities that increases their risk of severe illness from COVID-19

Phase 1C:

• Other Essential Workers, which includes leasing agents and property managers, among others:

*Workers responsible for the leasing of residential properties to provide individuals and families with ready access to available housing.

*Workers responsible for handling property management, maintenance, and related service calls who can coordinate the response to emergency "at-home" situations requiring immediate attention, as well as facilitate the reception of deliveries, mail, and other necessary services.

*Workers performing housing and commercial construction related activities, including those supporting the sale, transportation, and installation of manufactured homes.
