"The statewide rate of COVID-19 ICU hospitalizations (3.8 per 100,000) is still above the threshold of concern (3.5 per 100,000). Therefore, the health data makes it clear that, while Executive Order 72’s temporary restrictions can be eased slightly, they must largely remain in place a little longer. In addition, every Virginian must continue to practice measures that are proven to keep people safe: avoid gatherings with anyone outside your household, practice hand sanitation, maintain proper physical distance from others, stay home when possible, and wear masks while indoors and in public. We have to continue to work together to keep each other safe."
