VA Elective CE: 2 hours (Each course listed below will give one hour of elective continuing education credit)

Understanding Surveys – 1 Hour
Surveys show a wealth of information about the features of a property. The course’s aim is to help real estate licensees learn the history of lot lines and metes and bounds, the basics of a survey, what types of issues that can be revealed in a survey, and the effects of title insurance on survey results. This knowledge will help licensees understand the results of a survey and guide clients on what to look for as part of a survey.

Reviewing ALTAs and CDs – 1 Hour
All real estate transactions require parties to review and sign off on a settlement statement and/or closing disclosure. It is fundamental to every transaction and the source of problems if figures are misrepresented or missing. Agents have a deeper understanding about what happens in a transaction, so their ability to review and explain a settlement statement to their client pays off exponentially in avoiding errors before or after closing. Ultimately, understanding these basics and history will assist agents in providing a smoother experience for their clients when issues occur.

Cancellation policy applies upon registering for this course.  Cancellation fee is $10.00. No exceptions.
