Other People's Property – 1 Hour
A review of the law regarding situations in which the owner of the property may not be legally capable of conveying the title and someone else may be appointed to act on behalf of the owner. Persons with legal disabilities (including minors and incapacitated persons) may need a court-appointed fiduciary to handle their property. Many people appoint agents to act for them under powers of attorney. Know the basics to make sure proper parties are signing. Beyond basic situations.
Authorization & Signatures– 1 Hour
This course will go over how to recognize who needs to sign the listing agreement and contract, issues that might slow a purchase or sale due to ownership issues of the seller, potential problems due to form of ownership, the details involving ownership by multiple individuals, estates/heirs, trusts and more.
