Consumers on Path to Home Ownership
Fairfax, Virginia – Twelve Northern Virginia Realtors® were honored on Thursday, January 6 for completing the 2010 Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® Leadership Institute. Graduates received their completion certificates at an annual leadership meeting at the association’s Fairfax headquarters. The group fulfilled a year-long training course designed to prepare its members to assume positions of leadership in the real estate community.
“There is no better leadership boot camp training than NVAR’s Leadership Institute,” said Karen Trainor, 2011 NVAR Chairman of the Board and 2008 institute graduate. “In today’s economic climate, Realtors® serve in the role of trusted advisors to their clients. Our NVAR Leadership Institute offers a pro-active, year-long program that fine tunes our members’ knowledge about industry trends, market fluctuations and the use of effective strategies to communicate these realities to consumers.”
The program serves a dual purpose, to educate future leaders about the local association’s role within state and national professional real estate organizations, and to prepare them to represent Realtors® and real property interests within the community. Participants are immersed in industry resources and practices through a series of learning opportunities that take place throughout the year.
The following Realtors® graduated from the 2010 Leadership Institute:
- Tammy Bagnato – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Springfield
