Cindy Ariosa joined Long & Foster as the Regional Vice President of Baltimore in 2000.  In 2010 Ariosa was promoted to Sr. Vice President and her region was expanded to include Western Maryland.  In 2016 it was expanded once again to include the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. is the largest Independent real estate firm in the country.  Ariosa’ region is the largest region in the company with 50 sales offices and over 2300 sales associates.  Annual sales in her region exceed $6 billion and 18,000 units.

Her current responsibilities include operations, financial management, budgets, mergers, acquisitions, recruiting and supervising the management team and sales force.  The affiliate usage in her region has a combined capture rate of 80%.

Cindy Ariosa has been on the National Association of Realtor’s Board of Directors since 2004, the Maryland Association of Realtor Executive Committee and Board of Directors since 2003 and the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors Board of Directors since 1996.  Ariosa was also the President of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors in 2004, receiving the Realtor of the year award that same year.  

Ariosa has been on MRIS (Metropolitan Regional Information Services), one of the largest multiple list companies in the country, Board of Directors since 2006, and has served on their Executive Committee, and was Chairman of the Board.  She actively participates on committees at the national, state and local levels. She is also on the MLS Evolved Task Force and is on the Bright MLS Board of Directors and Executive Committee serving as Treasurer.   Ariosa was also recognized on the Swanepool Top 200 Leaders in 2016 and 2017 and Inman’s Most Influential List 2017.

Cynthia Adams is CEO of Pearl Certification, a Vienna, VA-based firm and member of NAR's 2017 REach class. Pearl is establishing a national home certification that helps agents sell energy efficient homes for more and faster.
She is a gubernatorial appointee to the Virginia Energy Council and was elected to the national board of Efficiency First. Cynthia is also founder of the Virginia Energy Efficiency Council and a fifteen-year veteran in energy efficiency and green construction.
Cynthia has been certified as a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and NAR Green Designee.

He became a permanent fixture on The Thousand report, published by REAL Trends in partnership with the Wall Street Journal, as well as #1 Agent on NAHREP’s Top 250 list and an Alumni of Realtor Magazine’s 30 under 30. During his 15 years selling, Pareja sold close to 4,000 homes representing around 750 million in transactional volume.

As the CEO of Remine, he has officially crossed the line into being a full-blown technologist after straddling the line for many years. Remine delivers big data visualizations and predictive analytics to real estate agents exclusively through their MLS. The demand for Remine from the MLSs is exceptionally strong – more than half of all residential Realtors will have access to Remine via their MLS by the end of the 2017.  

Pareja has been highly involved with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Pareja was the founding President of the NAHREP Metro DC chapter and then joining the national board to expand their efforts in public policy advocacy to protect the underserved markets. He will continue serving the organizations mission as the 2017 National President.

Buddy Rizer is the Executive Director for economic development in Loudoun County, Virginia, one of the fastest-growing and wealthiest counties in the U.S. He leads the agency responsible for encouraging growth and developing relationships with Loudoun’s business community in both the commercial and agricultural-based business sectors.  He has been named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers for 2017, and a 2017 Tech Titan by Washingtonian magazine.

Prior to his career as an economic developer, Mr. Rizer spent more than 30 years as a broadcaster.  Mr. Rizer started his radio career at age 15 at WARK/WARX in his hometown of Hagerstown, Maryland where he rose to the rank of Station Manager and morning host before heading to Washington, D.C.  For 16 years, Buddy served as Program Director, Music Director and On-Air Host at DC101 (WWDC-FM) in Washington.  While at DC101, Buddy was recognized with several national awards, including Billboard Magazine’s Music Director of the Year.  From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Rizer was the owner of WTRI Radio in Frederick County, Maryland and its partner newspaper, “The Catoctin Valley Crier”. He still hosts an occasional radio show at 98 Rock (WIYY-FM) in Baltimore, Maryland.  

Rizer is a certified economic developer and a graduate of Virginia Tech's Local Government Management Graduate Certificate Program.

Elizabeth has more than 19 years of experience in commercial real estate research and analysis. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2014, she was the National Research Director at Delta Associates, a Transwestern research affiliate where she oversaw economic and commercial real estate research for the Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and Denver markets. She previously served as a Needs Assessment Analyst with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Elizabeth is a member of NAIOP DC/MD and Northern Virginia chapters and is a member of the NAIOP Northern Virginia Bus Tour Committee. She is also a member of Lambda Alpha, a land economic society.

Licensed for over thirteen years, Julie has helped clients achieve real estate goals all over the region. She is currently a listing specialist with Kormann Realty Group LLC of Keller Williams Realty-Dulles. She previously provided support to the U.S. Department of Energy on its collaboration with the National Association of REALTORS® to promote home energy efficiency within the real estate industry, and provided outreach and communications support to the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH), a HUD program which works to promote advanced building technologies to the housing industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science & Natural Resources Management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and is a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council. Wes Madden


Wes Madden

Wes Madden currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Sales Manager for the Emerald Coast’s top-selling luxury real estate brokerage, Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty, which serves the real estate market from Panama City Beach to Destin, Florida.
Wes's dedication to quality service started in the United States Army where he honorably served as a medical evacuation (Dustoff) Black Hawk pilot. He performed rescues all over Alaska and was decorated in combat operations while serving in Afghanistan. Upon his medical retirement, Wes transitioned to real estate, where he immediately made an impact as a Realtor and quickly became the top-selling agent in his market. Due to his training as an Army officer, Wes recognized that consumers deserved a specialized and streamlined real estate experience, avoiding the "one size fits all" mentality. He established Madden Real Estate in Fairbanks, Alaska, and created a team of specialists that were experts in each facet of the real estate market.
In April, 2017, Wes successfully negotiated the merger and eventual sale of Madden Real Estate with Dar and Ed Walden of Keller Williams Alaska Group.

David was elected by his peers to serve on the Executive Committee of the International Downtown Association, which is the premier association for business improvement districts. David earned his Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and did his graduate work in City & Regional Planning at Cornell University. In March 2017, David Diaz was hired as the President & CEO of the Tysons Partnership.  Between 2007-2017, as CEO of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, David and the Raleigh team led the transformation of downtown Raleigh by attracting over $3 billion in new investments including recruitment of the Global Headquarters of Red Hat and the Regional Headquarters of Citrix.

In 2006, David received the Bronze Star for his combat tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving as an Intelligence Officer. Between 1999 and 2007, David served as a City Planner, an Assistant to the City Manager, and President of the business improvement district in Roanoke, Virginia

David R. Millard joined the Tysons office of Avison Young as a Principal in April 2011. Formerly, he was an Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield, which he joined in early 2004. Mr. Millard has over 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate corporate tenant representation services in the Washington Metropolitan area marketplace. Mr. Millard’s experience spans a wide range of real estate transactions on behalf of his clients, including lease acquisitions and dispositions, build-to-suits, investment sales and structured financing.

He has been involved in more than 12.5 million sf of real estate transactions since 1996. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Millard spent eight years with Transwestern Commercial Services as Senior Vice President. In that position, Mr. Millard specialized in office leasing and sales in Northern Virginia and was a stockholder in the firm. Mr. Millard was also a partner at Smithy Braedon during his tenure there from 1984 - 1996.

Mr. Millard began his real estate career in 1980 with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) where he was an interior design Project Manager. While at SOM, he was the Project Manager for the interior design of the 350,000 sf Terrace Building expansion of the National Geographic Society Headquarters. In 1982 and 1983, Mr. Millard was Director of Interior Design for Ellerbe Associates (now Ellerbe Becket).

I am a residential appraiser and consultant.  I have been active in the valuation industry for over 42 years.  My focus is the valuation of residential property in the Washington Metropolitan area.  I am a residential member of the Appraisal Institute which is the largest appraisal organization in America.  In 2012 I served as President of the D.C. Metro Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.  Over the years I have served in a number of other positions in the Appraisal Institute on both a local and National level.  In 2017 I was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Appraisal Institute.  In additional to serving in various capacities of the AI, I am also a member of the Greater Capitol Area Association of Realtors and served as a Director and Officer of the D.C. Association of Realtors in the 1980's.  Over the last few years I have been actively pursuing educational opportunities in the valuation of energy efficient and sustainable residential properties.  In 2015 I worked on a study of energy efficient properties in the District of Columbia titled "What is Green Worth" with Ms. Sandra Adomatis, SRA who is the foremost expert on the valuation of energy efficient and sustainable properties in the United States.

I currently provide residential valuation services to a variety of clients including Attorney’s, Lenders. Relocation Companies, and other private clients.  I have as testified as an expert witness in local and Federal Courts relating to various litigation matters including marriage dissolution, partnership disputes and Bankruptcies.

I currently reside in Orange Virginia with my wife Erika.  Together we have seven children and seven grandchildren.

Jon began his career in clean energy at Virginia Tech as a graduate student and research assistant studying community renewable energy systems. After graduating, Jon returned to his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia to work for the non-profit Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP). There he helped develop tools for energy measurement and verification projects and launched one of Virginia's first and most successful community Solarize programs, Solarize Charlottesville. In 2014, Jon joined the Sigora Solar team to help grow the business and expand into new markets. In addition to business development activities, Jon now runs the commercial sales department helping Sigora grow in the increasingly popular commercial and industrial sector.
