The Public and Government Affairs Department represents Northern Virginia Realtor® interests in the Virginia General Assembly and various local boards/councils across the region. We stay abreast of national, state, and local issues that affect your business in Fairfax and Arlington counties, the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax and Falls Church, and the Towns of Herndon, Vienna, and Clifton.
The success of our Government Affairs program relies heavily upon your individual participation. NVAR policy is developed by member Realtors® through our Government Affairs Committee and Board of Directors. In addition, the Northern Virginia/ Realtors® Political Action Committee (NV/RPAC) harnesses the power of thousands of fellow Realtors® to support the candidates that understand your business and the issues that impact your livelihood.
